Hi there, I'm Xin Yan!歆妍!
An aspiring UI/UX designer
looking to make stunning,
user-friendly digital
experiences.
About Me
My skill set and
expertise.
Nothing excites me more than creating solutions that brings people joy. With over 6 years of experience as a digital illustrator hobbyist, I’ve honed my skills in creating intuitive, user-centred designs that are both beautiful and interactive using Figma.
In my spare time, you can catch me doodling characters on blank canvases or indulging in video games.

uNivUS@National University of Singapore
UI/UX Designer, Researcher
uNivUS is an essential app that centralizes access to digital services for all NUS members. As a smart personal assistant, uNivUS personalises every individual's campus life through custom dashboards, armed with features such as a digital ID, calendar and app shortcuts.
I worked on refactoring the mobile design and created a prototype for a new web platform design with the aim of broadening outreach.
CastConnect
UI/UX Designer, Researcher, Project Manager
An integrated platform to streamline publishing and application processes for casting jobs in Singapore, enabling recruiters and talents to unite and harness their performing arts potential.
This app was designed and built by a team of five, using a user-centric design methodology from start to finish.
BOOYAH!@Garena
UI/UX Designer, Visual Designer, Product Designer
A popular live streaming platform that connects friends and communities via immersive experiences.
Available on Android, iOS, and the web, it offers real-time broadcasts, engaging content creators, and interactive features, making it a hub for gaming enthusiasts and entertainment seekers alike.
I am constantly exploring
new best practices
and workflows.
Design Skills
As a designer, I value creating comfortable interfaces that target user needs.
Being a user myself, I understand the frustration with using clunky or confusing interfaces. So, I want to bridge the gap between user expectations and design.
Every project has its unique requirements and challenges. Thus, no design process is the same and I learn to adapt.
You can find more of my design projects on my Dribbble.
Tech Skills
As a programmer, I value clean, efficient and well-documented code as it contributes to the user experience.
Being able to implement my ideas and turn them into reality motivates me to refine my programming skills.
You can find more of my technical projects on my Github.
